OXY Clinical Acne Treatments

Hello everyone-

I got a sample in the mail the other day of Oxy Clinical, Oxy's latest skin care system.

It came with a small sample of the cleanser and acne treatments, and it looks interesting to me.

The information provided with it claims that in most cleansers that contain salycilic acid (main ingredient in a lot of acne washes and treatments), the medication washes off when you rinse your face.  Their product, however, claims that at least 80% of the medication stays on the skin after rinsing. Sounds pretty good.

The treatment's active ingredient is Benzoyl Peroxide, which this product also claims theirs is more long lasting and deeper penetrating than the average benzoyl peroxide treatment.

Does it work? I have yet to test it myself.  Depending on how the samples make my skin feel, I may buy an actual kit and give it a run for its money.  I usually use Shiseido Pureness (which is the only thing to really consistently keep my skin clear, lately I have had the tendency to be blackhead city) so I wonder how the Oxy Clinical, a drugstore brand, compares.

Have any of you guys used this or tried it yet? Comment below if you have!

Have a great Friday and have a great weekend!

More stuff for the boys!

Hi everyone!

This will be my second Gatsby facial cleanser review- this time I will be reviewing the anti-tightness formula.

Similar packaging to the other triple scrub, but a different blue.

I like this wash a bit better than the triple scrub because it doesn't dry my face out (hence the "anti-tightness" claim). Smells just like the other wash, which smells like Sprite or 7up soda. Rinses clean, a little goes a long way.  However I notice that it does not contain any salycilic acid or other acne medication which I would prefer it had.

Pro: Smells good, non drying, clean rinsing, not expensive
Con: May be hard to find, no acne medication

If you are not really acne prone but want to try a new cleanser, give this one a try!

Face Shop Masksheets

Hello!

As I previously mentioned, I picked up some Face Shop masksheets from Walgreens a couple of weeks ago.  So far, I have tried 2-  Aloe Vera and Pearl essence.

I don't have any pics of the aloe one, I accidentally tossed the wrapper before I took a pic, but I do have a pic of the Pearl one so you can see.

The pouch

The mask itself (I look like a murderer while wearing it...)

First, the Aloe mask.

This mask was nicely scented, not too overpowering, and felt really refreshing on my face.  When I was done, my skin felt nice and dewy, not irritated or anything.  Also, not too greasy!  This might even feel nice on if you have a little sunburn on your cheeks.

The Pearl mask

This one smells really good too (different than the Aloe).  It is meant to give a brighter complexion, I think it is meant to go with their White Tree whitening line (which I have as my winter skincare because it is very moisturizing).  During this climate, that skincare line and this mask is a bit greasy for me.  It is a very good moisturizer, perhaps better for mature, drier skin.

I still have a collagen and a pomegranate one. Reviews to come!

Congrats! ^^

I will be having another giveaway for May- It will be Asian beauty based- and I will be giving away up to 3 tubes of BB cream- a product VERY popular in Asia for creating a nice finished, natural look to your skin.  I use it too, and it also makes a great base for under airbrush makeup. ^^  It looks good with most skin tones, it blends in well (Not sure about darker skin tones though.)

I haven't posted in a while because my computer DIED!!!!!! >___<  So while I get that cleared up, I am using other people's computers/laptops/etc so bear with me!

The FaceShop Hits Walgreens!

Hello~~~

As some of you may know, I am an avid user of products by the FaceShop.  They are a Korean cosmetics company whose items I have only been able to find in ONE store near me. Not anymore!

I went into my local Walgreens and lo and behold- a whole stand of FaceShop masks.  2 for $5! So yes, I got one of each (except Lemon, which they were sold out of.  They were almost sold out of ALL of them! Mostly I got the last ones.)

The ones I have are:

Pearl- for whitening
Collagen- for firming
Aloe- for refreshing
Pomegranate- for many benefits

They had a Lemon one too but it was sold out.

Tonight, before bed, I am going to use one, then post about it tomorrow~

Good Night!
